Zhuoan’s Perfect Floor Paint is a quick drying premium quality acrylic paint for both wooden and concrete floors that gives exceptional coverage and a lasting finish.

The satin finish subtly reflects light and also gives greater slip resistance than traditional gloss floor paints. Available in a huge range of Zhuoan’s colours, so you can choose between the casual chic of a white timber floor, or get creative and experiment with borders, checks, diamonds or stencilled designs.

SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS:

Interiors mainly, but can be used on covered external areas such as patios or verandahs. Can be applied to most suitably prepared bare timber floors and bare concrete floors. Not suitable for painting on surfaces previously painted in an oil based paint. Not suitable for driveways, garages, carports or exterior cement.

Sand wood smooth and patch holes and imperfections with wood filler or putty and sand smooth. Remove all sanding dust. Prime new and bare surfaces with Reserve.

Stir paint thoroughly. Intermix containers to ensure uniform color. Apply with a premiumquality roller, polyester brush or airless sprayer. Paint the ceiling first, then the walls. If applying by roller, roll from dry area into wet area using firm, crisscross strokes. Finish with long, even strokes in one direction. Note: Some deep or bright colors may require an additional coat to obtain complete hide. Surface conditions and application technique can also impact coverage

Storage:

Paints should be stored in dry, shaded conditions and must be protected from freezing at all times during storage and transport. Frozen material shall be discarded, and never thawed and applied. The recommended storage temperature is between 5ºC (41ºF) and 30ºC (86ºF). Containers should remain sealed and unopened until needed and used in date order. Shelf life may be reduced at higher storage temperatures.

Can I use wood varnish on laminate floor?

You can only use wood varnish on wooden floors or 'revarnish' laminate floors, as it won't stick to laminate flooring.

This is easy to apply. All you need is the product, a clean floor and a cloth. Apply it evenly over the surface and that's it. You're done!

Can I put varnish over floor paint?

Floor Paint should be tough enough to withstand any wear and tear. However if you wanted to varnish over, we wouldn't recommend it, as varnishes intended for use indoors can react with the paint and cause a yellowing effect. This includes waterbased varnishes that would be clear without this reaction.

Are your varnishes water based?

Our varnishes are water based. Water based finishes don't have bad odours and dry a lot quicker than solvent based finishes.
